Tijuana Panthers have given you a little something to jam while cruising around the city this summer with the car windows open. “Front Window Down” is the breezy first single from “POSTER,” the fourth album from the Long Beach trio of Chad Wachtel, Daniel Michicoff and Phil Shaheen. The album, out Aug. 28 via Innovative Leisure, sees the trio again mixing and matching styles of guitar rock — they can’t be pigeonholed as surf-rock, pop-punk or post-punk, but all those influences melded nicely on 2014’s “Wayne Interest,” and have again on “POSTER.” The songs are like bright glimpses of California, almost all under 3 1/2 minutes, almost all wielding some kind of memorable hook or lyric. Fill up the gas tank.
