Philadelphia native Bilal released a Kendrick Lamar collaboration “Money Over Love” this week, teasing the June 30 release of his new, Adrian Younge-produced album “In Another Life.” And on Wednesday he brought his arching falsetto to the Echo, previewing songs from that album. The big night also featured Inglewood’s Thurz, doing songs from his “Designer” EP (and covering Imagine Dragons’ “Radioactive”). L.A. crew Oddience got the party started with a set of what they call “94.7 The Wave Rap.”
