The Bird and the Bee — the duo of Inara George and Greg Kurstin whose new album “Recreational Love” came out last month — head up the lineup at this year’s Taste of South Lake, the culinary and music festival in Pasadena on Saturday, Oct. 10.
The annual event, from noon to 5 p.m. in the Crown City shopping district, brings a full afternoon of music to the outdoor stage, including local pop and folk standouts the Colourist, Run River North, Freedom Fry and Attic Empire. It’s free and all-ages.
Besides the music, the event offers food from more than 25 South Lake Avenue restaurants, live cooking demos with celebrity chefs and a vendor village.
The set times:
Noon — Attic Empire
1 p.m. — Freedom Fry
2 p.m. — Run River North
3 p.m. — The Colourist
4 p.m. — The Bird and the Bee
