► Miguel headlines the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro behind his new album “Wildheart,” with L.A. rock quartet Dorothy opening.
► Now based in L.A. and with a sixth album in the works, Scottish singer-songwrtiter KT Tunstall plays the Troubadour.
► Pink Martini, featuring China Forbes and Storm Large, welcomes Ari Shapiro as special guest for tonight’s show at the Hollywood Bowl, which starts with a performance by Doc Severinsen and His Big Band
► Lee Scratch Perry holds forth at Dub Club at the Echoplex.
► With their debut album “2008” on the way this fall, L.A. hip-hop collective OverDoz headlines the Echo, supported by KR and Walter French at the Echo
► Tashaki Miyaki heads up the lineup at the Satellite, where Northern American and Holland Belle celebrates the vinyl release of her album “Wanderlust.”
► And it’s Sleep State along with Rywolf and Flower Jacket, at Los Globos.
