► The Mad Decent Block Party brings Major Lazer, T-Pain, Riff Raff, NETSKY, Paul Devro, CL, Jauz and TJR to the Los Angeles Center Studios (1201 W. 5th St.) Also: Mad Decent All-Stars do an after-party at Avalon Hollywood.
► Deer Tick and He’s My Brother She’s My Sister highlight the Long Beach Folk Revival Festival at Rainbow Lagoon Park.
