There’s never been any doubt that Sacramento-bred dance-punkers !!! (Chk Chk Chk) can throw a party. Sunday night at the Echoplex, Nic Offer and crew did so with split personalities. Touring behind their new album “As If,” released in October, the band gave a typically wild headlining performance. And they also opened for themselves — as Stereolad, a Stereolab cover band. This set saw Offer donning a dress and affecting a French accent (so was he Tim or Laetitia or both?). Secret Circuit mixed in some cosmic electronica to complete the night.
