► Tim Minchin holds forth at the Theatre at Ace Hotel.
► Dawn Richard, aka DAWN, does a show at the Troubadour billed as Bravura featuring DAWN. Class Actress opens.
► Miami singer Kat Dahlia, on the road behind her album “My Garden,” brings her winter tour to the Roxy Theatre.
► Soul trio KING, with their album on the way in February, visit the Lyric Theatre, with Joey Dosik opening.
► Max & the Moon headline the Echo, supported by Satchmode and Kid Cadaver at the Echo
► And Fairground Saints continue their residency at the Hotel Café on a night that also features Valley Shrine, Doug Locke and Michigan Rattlers.
