► The inimitable Todd Rundgren, doing a “Fan Favorites” tour, holds forth at the Saban Theatre
► Haunted Summer [see “Dawn of the Red”] head up an enticing lineup of L.A. bands at the Troubadour The duo will be performing with the Brendan Eder Ensemble’s woodwinds, and also playing the night are So Many Wizards, Summer Twins and Isaac Rother & the Phantoms, with Mad Alchemy’s liquid light show going on all night.
► Send Medicine [see “Tall Flowers”] celebrates the release of “Scary Aquarius Daughter” at the Bootleg Theater, with Valley Queen and Holy Cow supporting.
► And the free “Satellite Nights” series continues with Shadow the Wild, Jason Heath & the Greedy Souls and Kiki Bridges playing the Silver Lake club.
