Monday’s Los Angeles concerts:
► Long-running Belgian rockers K’s Choice, now in their third decade and having last year released their sixth album “The Phantom Cowboy” (check out “Private Revolution”), visit the Viper Room. Besides her duties as a rocker, frontwoman Sarah Bettens is a firefighter, so the band is asking fans to bring a donation of a stuffed animal for local firefighters to distribute to children who are victims of fires.
► Sarah Neufeld takes a solo break from her Arcade Fire duties at Resident, with Eartheater and Contact Field in support.
► Tunesmith extraordinaire LP continues her Monday residency with Kolars and Bjorn & the Sun at the Echoplex.
► Mating Ritual (with a surprise appearance by Pacific Air) continue their residency at the Satellite on a packed night including, the Soft White Sixties, the Fuzzy Crystals, and Teenage Wrist.
► Fell Runner, continue their residency at the Bootleg Theater, joined by the Big Gone and Angelo de Augustine.
► And Hailing from Halifax, Nova Scotia, Nap Eyes bring their folkiness to the Echo with Cian Nugent and Matt Kivel.
