Ears Wide Open: Freddy Spacer

With his colorful pop quartet Y LUV on hiatus the past year or so, lead man Freddy Janney has embarked on a solo venture. This week he released his first single as Freddy Spacer, “Give Me the Night,” produced by Blair, and exuberant indie-dance affair that’s bouncy like Y LUV but more, well, spacey. Janney has been working on his production chops as well, recently do a remix of WASI’s “And the World,” and preparing the Freddy Spacer live show. It includes choreographed dancers and an ambitious light show, so fans that found their fun in Y LUV’s live shows can likely expect more of the same here.
