After Echo Park Rising jumped to an electric start on Thursday (the robust crowds then were an indication of what the weekend would be like), Friday’s Day 2 of the sixth annual festival was a rager. The highlights including Liberty Stage headliners Chicano Batman (and Thee Commons before them), Dear Boy’s set at the Echoplex and, frankly, about 20 small sets all over (not to mention the crazy party DJ’d by Downtown Lobby on the Echoplex patio). Here’s a sampling.
