Los Angeles concerts for Tuesday:

Eagles of Death Metal headline the first of two sold-out benefit shows for cancer-stricken guitarist Dave Rosser (of the Afghan Whigs). It goes off at the Teragram Ballroom, with the Gutter Twins and Duff McKagan supporting.
Dam-Funk visits the Echo, joined by teenage rapper Chester Watson, Pioneer 11 [see “Grumpy Goomba”], Natia and Jordan Raf.
► Swedish rockers the Sounds do the first of two nights at the Belasco Theater on a tour celebrating the 10-year anniversary of their album “Dying to Say This to You.” Get there early for Zipper Club and My Jerusalem.
Whispertown throws a holiday part and show at downtown’s Resident, joined by Jake Bellows, Buddy and Viva Violet.
Fell Runner headlines the Bootleg Theater, joined by Partly and SK Kakraba.
► And two December residencies continue in full force — Lauren Ruth Ward at Harvard & Stone (with Easyfriend, SLUGS and Robbery Inc.) and Facial at the Hi Hat (joined by Clear and VS Colour).
