Friday was a huge day for AFI, now well into their third decade of expectations-defying rock. On the day that they released their 10th album “AFI (The Blood Album),” the band — vocalist Davey Havok, guitarist Jade Puget, bassist Hunter Burgan and drummer Adam Carson — kicked off a month-long national tour with a sold-out show at the Troubadour. (They wind up their tour is the less cozier confines of the Wiltern on Feb. 24 and 25.) Suffice to say the AFI faithful were into it, as a steady stream of crowd-surfers made their way to the quartet and back again.
