► Clap Your Hands Say Yeah plays the Roxy in support of their new album “The Tourist, the fifth from songwriter Alec Ounsworth. Vita and the Woolf open.
► Jeremy Enigk (of the seminal post-hardcore band Sunny Day Real Estate) brings his solo tour to the Bootleg Theater, with Tomo Nakayama opening.
► The Orwells rock the Observatory in support of “Terrible Human Being,” their third album, released last month. The Walters open.
► It’s the next-to-last show ever for Yellowcard, who play the Novo tonight on their farewell jaunt. Sean O’Donnell.
► La Luz rock that Echo, joined by Omni, Happyness, Veiny Hands and Thee MVPs.
► Colorado funksters the Motet hold it down at the Teragram Ballroom.
