Playing amid squeals and shrieks usually reserved for boy bands, The 1975 played to a huge crowd at the Greek Theatre on Wednesday. Backed by massive tower of lights, frontman Matt Healy and mates tore through 21 songs, including most of last year’s sophomore album “I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It.” In a radio interview earlier in the day, Healy had confirmed that the Manchester quartet’s third album, “Music for Cars,” would be out next year. Fellow Mancunians Pale Waves opened the show. The bands are playing the Greek again tonight.
