Ears Wide Open: Porcelain Pale

Experimental electronic music trio Porcelain Pale live in a world of seemingly conflicting urges — introspect/project, advance/retreat, unsettle/comfort. They got their start in La Puente as the bedroom project of Andy Rayner, who soon joined up with pals Adrian Arroyo and Roger Lopez, and in 2016 released their debut EP, “Aurelia.” After linking up with CupaDella Records, Porcelain Pale recently released the new single “Yesterday’s Tomorrow,” a positively Yorke-ian tapestry of warm synths and beats and emotive vocals that unfolds like some lost memory, recovered during hypnosis. Impressive.
