There’s a new festival coming to downtown Los Angeles in October, and you’ll have to wear black.
The Jesus and Mary Chain, KMFDM, She Wants Revenge and Poptone top the lineup of more than 30 artists for the inaugural Cloak & Dagger – Dusk Till Dawn, going off Friday and Saturday, Oct. 20-21, at the Globe and Palace theaters on Broadway.
And the dress code is no joke: The event page says wearing black will be “strictly enforced.”
The lineup also features the likes of TR/ST, Com Truise, The Soft Moon, HEALTH, Cold Cave, the Gaslamp Killer, Mykki Blanco, HO99O9, Drab Majesty, Steve Moore, Nostalghia and Tamara Sky.
The festival is an expansion of the members-only weekly Cloak & Dagger dance night helmed by Adam Bravin (aka DJ Adam 12 of She Wants Revenge) and producer Michael Patterson. The fest is 21-and-older.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday here. General admission is $99 (single-day) and $175 (weekend); VIP passes are $200/$400.
