Young Creatures have had their travails since they debuted in 2012, but the band — currently singer-guitarist Mike Post, guitarist Andrew Gleason and drummer Mikey Escalante — dialed things in on their 2014 full-length “Fear All the Things.” As they roll out their new album, “The Future Is Finally Now,” the psych-rockers still prove conversant in biting, spooky guitars and mysterious messages. “The Last One” is their new single, sounding as if from a distant memory. Their circular, stabbing guitar licks lurk behind Post’s elliptical narration — what exactly is “The Last One,” and is it to be feared or celebrated? It might be gone before we know.
