The gorgeous, woozy folk music of Olin & the Moon has been infiltrating the ears of Los Angeles ever since the brothers LaBrel – David and Travis – and Marshall Vore lit out for L.A. from their native Idaho several years ago. The quintet has a new album, “Footsteps,” due on Tuesday. To celebrate the release of the follow-up to 2009’s “Terrible Town,” they’re doing a Tuesday residency at the Echo this month. Today on the Buzz Bands LA show on MoheakRadio, frontman David LaBrel will join me to talk about “Footsteps” and the residency, and, hopefully, play a couple of the new songs acoustically. Join me at 3 p.m.
