Lissie returned to her old stomping grounds on Wednesday night, playing a packed room at the Teragram Ballroom in support of her new album “Castles.” It’s the fourth full-length from the artist born Elisabeth Corrin Maurus, a native Midwesterner who spent substantial time in California (she lived in Ojai) as she built her career but who has since returned to the Midwest. She now lives on a farm in northeast Iowa.

Fresh off a European tour and playing the first date on a U.S. swing, Lissie performed eight songs from the new album but also gave longtime fans a treat with tunes from her 2010 debut, including ending the concert with her first single “In Sleep.”

Van William opened the show with songs from his debut full-length, “Countries.”

Lissie setlist: Blood & Muscle, Feels Good, Hero, Shameless, Further Away (Romance Police), When I’m Alone, Castles, Oh Mississippi, Love Blows, Shroud, Sand, Boyfriend, Meet Me in the Mystery, Best Days, Don’t You Give Up On Me, Little Lovin’. Encore: Everywhere I Go, In Sleep.
