Silver Lake Jubilee returning May 21-22

The Silver Lake Jubilee, the neighborhood festival that debuted last year with 50 bands on three stages (along with an army of food trucks and art exhibits), will be back at its Sunset Junction-adjacent locale May 21-22. The set-up, along Myra Avenue between Santa Monica and Sunset Boulevards, will be similar to last year’s – as will the admission fee, $5. An announcement is expected later today.

The music lineup probably won’t be announced until after SXSW, but some of the acts I’ve heard are in the works are White Sea, Summer Darling, El Ten Eleven and Jail Weddings. The Los Angeles Arts and Athletics Alliance is again staging the festival, with proceeds benefiting a potpourri of local programs.

Update: The announcement just hit, and tickets are on sale here.
