► Kris Kristofferson & the Strangers (Merle Haggard’s backing band, including his sons) comes  through to the Theatre at Ace Hotel to play selections from his double CD, “The Cedar Creek Sessions,” recorded live at Austin’s Cedar Creek Recording Studio.
► Jon Auer and Ken Stringfellow of the Posies stop at the Bootleg on their West Coast tour celebrating their 30th anniversary. Simone White opens.
► Wild Signals throw a dreamy shoegaze party at Gold Diggers for their debut EP, “Start at the End,” released on Friday. Bizou, Twin Oaks and Sleep Still open.
► NAO brings London funk pop to the Observatory OC with her new album, “Saturn,” with Xavier Omar opening.
