For a second time in seven months, the influential German electropunk band Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF) have canceled a Los Angeles appearance because of visa problems.

The cult heroes were scheduled to headline the Regent Theater on Saturday night. DAF’s gig last July at the Cloak & Dagger festival was scotched for visa problems as well.

So Saturday’s show at the Regent has been retooled. Long-running British goth-rockers Spear of Destiny, who along with the Wraith were originally scheduled to play the Echo, will instead headline the Regent. Spear of Destiny and the Wraith will be joined by the bands originally set to support DAF — Light Asylum, Tearist and Plack Blague.

And it will be a free show.

Spear of Destiny has released 14 albums, the first five of which (in the 1980s) charted in the U.K. The L.A. date is part of their first U.S. tour in more than a decade.

Those who bought tickets to DAF will be refunded.
