Adam Lazarra and Co. drummed up all the feels for a packed Hollywood Palladium crowd on Thursday night. In celebration of its 20th anniversary, Taking Back Sunday played their 2002 debut “Tell All Your Friends” in its entirety. For any Taking Back Sunday fan, it was a dream — the band teasing with extended instrumentals before Lazzara delivered the goods with his signature howl, throwing the crowd into peak nostalgia. Donning their band tees, the crowd conjured their teenage angst for one more night, belting back lyrics and crowd surfing over the barricades. Having run through “Tell All Your Friends,” the band called out WWE wrestler Seth Rollins to officiate the coin toss to determine which album they would play next in its entirety, “Louder Now” or “Where You Want To Be.” Crowd-watching with bated breath, the result came in — “Where You Want To Be” was up next. Faithful to the end, the crowd rallied around a (deservedly) tired Lazarra filling in on the high notes, singing back every song word for word.

Frank Iero of My Chemical Romance and Reggie and The Full Effect fame opened up the night with a brash onslaught of catchy, abrasive jams.
