Altlana post-punk trio Omni stirred a characteristically chatty Zebulon on Monday night. The recent Sub Pop signees played a bevy of songs from their second LP, 2017’s “Multi-task,” including their new single “Delicacy.” The amalgam of their angular melodies and nervous style of play created a nervous tension that could only find catharsis in an emergent circle-pit. The crowd was squarely theirs as they entered the latter part of their set, dusting off a handful of songs from their acclaimed 2016 debut “Deluxe” to uproarious applause.

Moaning, the abrasive post-punk trio of Sean Solomon, Pascal Stevenson and Andrew MacKelvie provided direct support, unleashing waves of fuzz, permeated with hard percussion and reverbed guitar. Hewn from the L.A. DIY circuit, their drone-meets-pop-punk sensibilities echoing their years thrashing in spaces like The Smell and the late Pehrspace.

EST (Electronic Social Transformation) opened the night weaving a set of eerie electronic existentialism off their new EP “The Everies,” while illuminated by a projection of the moon behind them.
