L.A. Buzz Bands Show, tonight at 9 on The Independent 88.5 FM

Join me at 9 tonight on The Independent 88.5 FM for a special edition of the L.A. Buzz Bands Show. I’ve given tonight’s playlist over to Echo Park Rising — all the artists on the show tonight will be among the hundreds playing the neighborhood festival next Thursday through Sunday. It is but a small sampling of what you can find in venues big, medium and small during the fest.

Included: new songs from Hana Vu, Cones, Kills Birds and Sheare, along with tunes from main-stage artists Saro, SadGirl, Palm Springsteen and the Red Pears. Buzz Bands LA’s own EPR stage will be repped, too, with music from Cosmo Gold, Trapdoor Social, Opus Vitae and Ward. And there’s more — at least as much as I can pack into an hour.
