The BeachLife Festival, which debuted last spring in Redondo Beach, returns for a second year on May 1-3 with a lineup that looks like an all-comfort food smorgasbord for music fans across generations. The Steve Miller Band, Counting Crows and Ziggy Marley & Stephen Marley’s Bob Marley Celebration are listed as headliners for the three-day music and culinary event at Redondo’s Seaside Lagoon.
The lineup also includes relative newbies such as Fitz & the Tantrums, the Record Company, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Lukas Nelson & the Promise of Real, Grace VanderWaal and Phosphorescent.
UB40 (feat. Ali Campbell and Astro), Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Live, WAR, Blues Traveler, G. Love & Special Sauce, the Mother Hips. Sugar Ray and Save Ferris are among the other veteran acts playing BeachLife 2020, which also features a wine village, craft beer bar, a sit-down restaurant and a big selection of food vendors.
The Marleys will be celebrating the anniversary of Bob Marley’s 75th birthday. Chevy Metal, with Taylor Hawkins fronting, will perform Queen covers. Ambrosia will play with special guests Stephen Bishop, John Ford Coley and Elliot Lurie.
Tickets, on sale now, are $299 for a three-day GA pass, and VIP packages start at $749
