■ Here’s your Flashback Friday: John Legend, backed by the Dap-Kings and the L.A. Philharmonic, performing Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On” in 2014 at the Hollywood Bowl. It was part of a big night at the Bowl saluting Gaye’s album of that name, released in 1971 and relevant today.

■ Aloe Blacc and students from the Compton Unified School District got together — virtually — to perform a version of the 2013 Avicii hit “Wake Me Up,” which Blacc co-wrote and sang. It was a dedication to the graduating class of 2020, and the Music Unites Centennial Choir, led by HB Barnum, joins in. Blacc had visited Centennial last fall as part of Music Unites.

■ And finally … is this the future of concerts? Appearing on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” the Flaming Lips performed “Race for the Prize” from 1999’s “The Soft Bulletin” — with band and crowd members in their respective bubbles.
