Here’s one for the summer heat wave: “Warm Bodies” is the new single from indie-pop siren Georgia Hurd, who’s steadily built her solo catalog after collaborating with her brother Zach (Bay Ledges) in that project’s early work.
Her producer-songwriter brother collaborates on “Warm Bodies,” too, but it’s Hurd’s understated vocal delivery that stars in the dreamy, shimmering reverie about running away together.
Prior to today’s release,” the Maine-bred, L.A.-based singer songwriter hadn’t released any solo material in two years, although in 2021 she was the featured vocalist on a collaboration with Keep Shelly in Athens. She’s at work on a full-length for Lean-To Records.
