Tennis, “Origins” – The Denver trio of Patrick Riley, Alaina Moore, James Barone recently announced that their sophomore offering of mood-elevating pop, “Young and Old,” will be out in February on Fat Possum. “Origins” will brighten any wintry day. Tennis plays the Satellite on Dec. 7.
The Duke Spirit, “Don’t Wait” – Seems like forever ago we talked with Leila Moss with some anticipation about the U.K. quintet’s third album “Bruiser.” Today it’s finally out, digitally at least. The lead track smolders, and you can download a live version of it here.
Mister Loveless, “Nineties Children” – Bay Area indie-rockers whose music seems equally informed by post-punk and mope-rock. The quartet released this single in July and is working on an album titled “Grow Up.”
