Saturday night is all right for … incredible small shows:

Tour De France, the L.A.-based songwriting duo of Bernadette Colomine and Samuel H Collin, celebrate the release of a new album with a show at the Bootleg Theater that promises guest turns by Rufus and Martha Wainwright. London-based Still Corners, witha new reord just out on Sub Pop, opens.
Fruit Bats, their fifth full-length “Tripper” just out in August, headlines the Troubadour, with L.A. faves the Parson Red Heads supporting. That’s their video for “You’re Too Weird,” above.
‣ Inara George and Van Dyke Parks, backed by a chamber orchestra, team up for a show at the Getty Center.
‣ Portland indie-rockers Typhoon swoop into the Satellite for a show with Wild Ones and Youth.
‣ A new KXSC-sponsored Saturday series at Space 15 Twenty on Cahuenga kicks off with Wires in the Walls, Seasons, Black Elephant and Body Parts.
‣ The second of the three-night anniversary party for Post Present Medium brings Dunes, John Wiese, Total Abuse, Thee Urxed and more to the Smell.
Pisces, the solo project from Sarah Negahdari of the Happy Hollows, heads up the lineup at Pehrspace.
The Shakers celebrate the release of their album “Oh So Loud” at the Viper Room, with Automatique and Badwater opening.
‣ And Downtown/Union, with a new EP “Deal Gone Wrong” just hitting, plays Lot 1 Cafe, with Geronimo Getty supporting.
