’Twas the Monday before Christmas, and all through the scene …
‣ Moby does an acoustic set at Bardot for the weekly RSVP-only It’s a School Night event, and young songstress Lucy Schwartz and Daniel Ahearn & the Jones also perform.
‣ The third installment of Manhattan Murder Mystery’s residency at the Satellite features Judson McKinney, Jonny Corndawg and Sweet Pea at the Roads.
‣ One of our favorite charitable organizations, the Songs for Kids Foundation, gets a boost from some of L.A.’s best talent – tonight’s fundraiser at the Hotel Cafe features Meiko, Cary Brothers, Gary Jules, Joshua Radin, Holly Conlan and Haroula Rose, among many others.
‣ Big Moves moves in to support Light FM at its Silverlake Lounge residency, where College Kids and Young Light (Michael Feerick of Amusement Parks on Fire with Micah Calabrese of Giant Drag) also play.
