Tonight in L.A.: Bikos, Olin & the Moon, Touché

Tuesdays shouldn’t be this much fun:

‣ L.A. sextet Bikos, who busted out last year with their exuberant album of spiky art-punk “Make Your Sound Sound,” play the Bootleg Bar as part of a great local bill that includes Lovers Drugs and Son Ark. [Get Bikos’ “You Want It” right here. And, for today only, download “Drift Off,” the title track rom Lovers Drugs’ album, from Bandcamp.]
‣ It was so much fun last year they brought it back for 2012. L.A.’s Olin & the Moon return to the Echo with their “Beer and Bingo” residency on Tuesday nights this month. Joining them on the residency will be Maxim Ludwig and the Santa Fe Seven, with the very good Willoughby and Jeff Crosby opening tonight’s festivities. That’s Maxim Ludwig’s video for “Stacy, C’mon,” above.
Touché, the new electronic music collaboration between Alex Lilly and Bram Inscore, kicks off a Tuesday residency at the Central SAPC. Evan Voytas, Gothic Tropic and Masxs support. [See Touché’s “Everything He Wants” video.]
