M83 plays a sold-out pre-Coachella show at the Fox Theater in Pomona, with Big Black Delta opening.
‣ Reunited and ready, Refused plays a pre-Coachella show at the Glass House in Pomona.
Youth Lagoon and Porcelain Raft convene at the Troubadour for a sold-out show.
Queen Caveat celebrate the release of their new “Slap on the Wrist” EP with a headlining gig at the Roxy, supported by Sound of Ugly and Cherri Bomb.
Cut Chemist celebrates with release of his new single “Outro” with a DJ set at the Virgil (formerly Little Temple).
‣ And there’s another festival in the desert kicking off tonight – the Moon Block Party – Desert Daze Festival begins an 11-day run at Dillon’s Roadhouse (64647 Dillon Rd., Desert Hot Springs). Topping tonight’s lineup: Dengue Fever, the Soft Pack, Old Testament (Jason Simon of Dead Meadow) and Deap Vally.
