Sunday’s select music menu:
‣ Coachella weekend two wraps up in Indio as Dre. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tupac’s hologram, At the Drive-In, Florence + the Machine, Justice and more headline in the desert.
‣ Meanwhile at Dillon’s Roadhouse, Akron/Family [that’s their video for “Cast a Net”], Here We Go Magic, the Entrance Band, Mini Mansions and plenty more play the 11th and final night of Desert Daze Festival.
‣ Now that Justin Vernon and the gang are done with their Coachella duties, Bon Iver stops by Santa Barbara Bowl.
‣ Upstairs in the Echo, Soft Metals returns for a show as part of Part-Time Punks. Silent Diane and Grapefruit support.
‣ And downstairs, the Toure-Raichel Collective – fronted by Malian singer/guitarist Vieux Farka Touré, Israeli singer-songwriter Idan Raichel – brings their world music to the Echoplex.
