Quite a Saturday in store:

‣ Rufus Wainwright headlines the Orpheum Theatre behind the release of his seventh album, “Out of the Game.” That’s Wainwright’s video for the title track, featuring Helena Bonham Carter, above.
‣ Brendan Benson’s fifth album “What Kind of World” came out late last month, and he swings through for a headlining date at the Troubadour.
‣ Brian Jonestown Massacre return to California behind their new album “Aufheben.” Blue Angel opens tonight’s show at the Wiltern.
‣ Yann Tiersen headlines the Fonda Theatre behind the April release of his seventh album “Skyline.”
‣ At the Luckman Fine Arts Complex at Cal State L.A., it’s Nikka Costa.
‣ Infected Mushroom, its new album “Army of Mushrooms” just out, debuts its new 3D live show tonight at Avalon Hollywood.
‣ At Irvine Lake Park in Orange County, there are three stages of music all day for the Eclectic Roots Festival. Included on the bill: Tijuana Panthers, Dirt Dress, Audacity, Corridor, LA Ghost and many more.
‣ And local music photographers, including Timothy Norris, Jeff Koga, Laurie Scavo, Sterling Andrews and Zoe-Ruth Erwin and more, will have their work on display at 1650 Gallery Studio as part of This Ain’t A Scene: Photo Exhibition and Live Music Event. Musical sets will be provided by Rob Danson (Death to Anders), Kelli Noftle (Miniature Soap/formerly of Walking Sleep), Andrew Spitser (Radars to the Sky) and more.
