L.A. Buzz Bands Show, tonight at 7 on KCSN

0

Think of tonight’s L.A. Buzz Bands as a sampler platter for a Sunday evening. Starting at 7 p.m. on KCSN (88.5 FM, streaming at KCSN.org), I’ll have laid out on the table new music from Superhumanoids, Torches, Baby Monster, IAMEVE, Great White Buffalo and the Briggs – the latter marking the punk-rock quartet’s return after a two-year hiatus. There’ll be a smattering of tunes from bands playing next weekend’s Silver Lake Jubilee, and a surprising cover song from a Hotel Cafe favorite. Join me, won’t you?

After the jump, the playlist:

Superhumanoids, “Too Young for Love”
Torches, “I Want Something”
Robert Francis, “Some Things Never Change”
Saint Motel, “1997”
NO, “There’s a Glow”
JJAMZ, “Never Enough”
Hands, “Warm Night Home”
IAMEVE, “Throw Me a Line”
The Briggs, “Panic”
Great White Buffalo, “Tightrope”
Baby Monsters, “City of Lovers”
DWNTWN, “See My Eyes”
Cary Brothers, “Maps” (featuring Priscilla Ahn)

… thanks for listening …
