My favorite fellow Libra plays a free show (followed by a signing) at Amoeba in Hollywood. … Damon Aaron celebrates the release of his new album “Highlands” with a show at the Roxy. … Leviathan Brothers mark the release of their new EP “Short Stories” with 8 and 9:30 p.m. shows at the Jazz Bakery. … The pride of Vänersborg, Sweden, Division of Laura Lee, is back with a new album, “Violence Is Timeless.” I missed the memo, but I really liked “Black City” back in the day, so maybe a trip to Spaceland is in order. … Or there’s the strange pairing at the Troubadour — David Vandervelde and Margot & the Nuclear So and So’s. Vandervelde’s new “Waiting for the Sunrise” is highly recommended. … Eulogies, with a new EP “Tempted to Do Nothing,” heads up a lineup of Dangerbird Records artists at the Hotel Cafe. … And, finally, Pistol for Ringo sounds fun at the Silverlake Lounge.
