Tonight in L.A.: Walk the Moon, ESP/A.A. Bondy, the Colourist/Blondfire, JJAMZ, Lana Del Rey

First Monday in June:</strong></p> <p>‣ Ohio-bred quartet <a href="http://walkthemoonband.com/" target="_blank">Walk the Moon</a> plays a sold-out show at the Troubadour – their self-titled debut for RCA will be out June 19. That’s the video for “Anna Sun,” the title track of their well-received EP released earlier this year. Kind of an indie-pop Killers, no?<br /> ‣ <a href="https://www.facebook.com/jjamzmusic" target="_blank">JJAMZ</a> launches a residency at the Satellite leading up to the July 10 release of the pop quintet’s debut “Suicide Pact.” Great lineup for opening night too – <a href="http://www.facebook.com/armynavyband?v=app_178091127385" target="_blank">Army Navy</a>, <a href="http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Damn-Sons/152089273530" target="_blank">the Damn Sons</a> and some special guests going by the name “Lithium Blue” (I suspect you need only check out the band connections of the members of JJAMZ to connect those dots).<br /> ‣ Experimental pop trio <a href="http://espesp.net/" target="_blank">ESP</a> kicks off its residency in a big way – opening the night at the Echo will be <a href="http://aabondy.co/" target="_blank">A.A. Bondy</a>. I really like Walk the Moon; caught them at Echoplex (fun live show) and going for round two tonight at Troub.

HUGE fan of Walk the Moon! I can’t wait for their album to come out in a few weeks on the 19th, the artwork for it is soo freakin cool 🙂 They have a few webisodes they released too, definitely check them out if you haven’t seem them…http://bit.ly/KISLEz

These boys are coming to my town next week and I can’t wait to see them. 🙂 They’ve been getting so much airplay and MTV dubbed “Anna Sun” the official summer song soooo, I’m pretty much stoked to see what their album has in store in a couple weeks!

I’ve been obsessing with these guys since they released Anna Sun. The webisodes they just put up are awesome! I had no idea they played at Lollapalooza last year. This one has some cool footage from the show http://bit.ly/KISLEz
