HARD Summer 2012 continues with Skrillex, NERO, A-Trak, James Murphy, Datsik, Amtrac and more at the Los Angeles Historic State Park.
‣ More than 30 bands perform at the 3rd New L.A. Folk Fest at Zorthian Ranch, including Beachwood Sparks and Sea of Bees.
Raphael Saadiq and Band of Skulls headline this weekend’s installment of KCRW’s Who Shot Rock & Roll series at Annenberg Space for Photography.
‣ Levitt Pavilion Pasadena’s outdoor series features Vaud & the Villains, Levitt Pavilion MacArthur Park’s series features Tristen.
‣ If you’re looking for an outdoor series near downtown L.A., you can catch the Bangles at Pershing Square.
‣ The Satellite gets a dose of psychedelic blues from Radio Moscow. The Dirty Streets and the Shrine also play.
Gardens & Villa, Mr. Little Jeans [that’s her video for “Runaway” above] and Wildcat! Wildcat! play a show at South Coast Village Plaza.
‣ Over at Bootleg Bar, it’s a solid local lineup with the OC bands the Colourist, Kiev and L.A.’s Monsters Calling Home.
