Buzz Bands LA Show, today at 11 on Moheak Radio

1

No sooner had I come down from my FYF Fest high than the Buzz Bands LA mailbox began overflowing this week with new music. Great Northern, Jenny O, Lord Huron, Erica Elektra and FIDLAR emerged with new tunes, and I caught up with recently fresh songs from Blondfire, the Lonely Wild, Kitten and Cardboard Lamb. Then there were the surprises – two duos going by the names Freedom Fry and Paw City. All are featured in this morning’s edition of the Buzz Bands LA Show on Moheak Radio. Your weekly blast of SoCal music also includes previews of show coming in the next week, including Silversun Pickups, Mini Mansions, Robert Francis and the three artists playing our SecondTuesday songwriter night at Lot 1 Cafe on Sept. 11, Michael Davis, Alaska Reid and the Sweet Hurt.

Join me at 11 a.m. for two hours of great music. You can now find Moheak on iHeartRadio.

Also check out the Moheak blog for a new feature, the Buzz Bands LA Song of the Day.
