‣ My Morning Jacket does the first of three nights at the Wiltern, supported by Portugal. The Man.
‣ Re-emergent experimental rockers Swans hit the Fonda Theatre behind the recent release of their two-CD, two-hour album “The Seer.”
‣ Angus Stone, the brother half of the Australian sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone, headlines the Troubadour. His solo album “Broken Brights” came out in July, and that’s his video for “Wooden Chair,” above.
‣ And Swedish rockers the Hives, joined by L.A. punk quartet FIDLAR, visit the Observatory in Santa Ana.
