Binary’s Touch Tone, aka Andrew Verner, has released single No. 2, “Make Believe,” with epic disco vocals by Alex Koons of LexiconDon. Slow and sexy, “Make Believe”  is a synth-laden, tropical thumper with masterful use of polyrhythms like recent material from labelmate Goldroom. Significantly more dancefloor-ready then Touch Tone’s initial single “Home Away From Home,” “Make Believe” bears the seamlessly smooth production hallmarks we’ve come to expect from Binary, most notably bringing island beats to the disco. Stems have been made available for “Make Believe,” so the remixes should begin pouring in shortly. (There are plenty of interesting takes on “Home Away From Home” here.)
