Quite a Saturday we have for you:
‣ Say you love ’em? Fleetwood Mac play to a sold-out Hollywood Bowl.
‣ Norwegian punk outfit Turbonegro rock the El Rey Theatre, supported by Tweak Bird.
‣ Bay Area indie-pop quartet Imperial Teen returns to the Satellite – their great 2012 album “Feel the Sound” is coming out in the U.K. and they’re headed overseas for some shows – with Frightwig Churches opening. [Last spring’s show at the Satellite was a good time.]
‣ Smoke Season [see our May 16 post] plays its first L.A. show at the Troubadour on a night that features K’noup & Kelly, Attaloss, Starry Eyes, the Nukes and Lady Nogrady.
‣ British folkies Stornoway headline the Bootleg Bar behind their new album, the gorgeous “Tales from Terra Firm,” with Horse Thief supporting.
‣ Experimental rockers Black Moth Super Rainbow visit the Echoplex behind their new album “Cobra Juicy.” The Hood Internet and Oscillator Bug open.
‣ And at the Greek Theatre, it’s a fun flashback night with War, Tower of Power and Cheech & Chong.
