Here’s what’s up for your Wednesday:
‣ Moby’s new album “Innocents” came out this week, and tonight he starts a run of shows at the Fonda Theatre. The less said about the video for “The Perfect Life” the better, but there it is, for you to ponder with your morning bagel.
‣ Depeche Mode returns for another show at Staples Center.
‣ Allah-Las bring their West Coast jangle-pop to the Troubadour, supported by Jacco Gardner and the Abigails.
‣ HOTT MT and Incan Abraham team up for a free show at the Satellite, part of the “Indie Is Pop” series staged by Black Irish Music / White Iris Records.
‣ At the Bootleg, it’s Simone White, plus a live score to “The Lodger,” performed by special (and at this point, secret) guest.
‣ And Queen Caveat is kicking off a residency at Hemingway’s.
