This is sure to happen with certain seasonal music in the next month: You’ll have That One Song Stuck in Your Head. The new L.A. duo De Lux has a contender in their first single “Better at Making at Time,” thanks to its sticky synth line. For the protagonist in director Cameron Dutra’s new video for the song, it’s almost as if De Lux (as opposed to Daft Punk) were playing in his house. So he solicits some intervention. The work of 22-year-olds Sean Guerin and Isaac Franco, “Better at Making Time” is a jumping-off point for De Lux’s first EP of old school-flavored disco-punk, just released as a free download via a car company. The duo has more music on the way in 2014 from Innovative Leisure.

This tune is so catchy it faintly gives me that daft punk vibe. Glad we have them featured on our homepage but kudos on the article! Best 🙂
