On this super Sunday, music pregame and music postgame:

‣ Day 2 of the Chinese New year Festival kicks off at noon in Chinatown, with five bands rocking the Live Music Stage – capped by Act As If at 4 p.m. Pretty Little Demons kicks off the free, all-ages affair at noon, followed by (on the hour) Dreamland, Distant Cousins, Air Life and Act As If. There are cultural performances, artisans, food trucks and other activities throughout Chinatown as well.
Frankie Rose (above), the Brooklyn indie-pop songstress who was a founding member of both Vivian Girls and Dum Dum Girls, kicks off a tour tonight at the Echo behind her widely acclaimed 2013 album “Herein Wild.” Dream Boys and Devon Williams support.
