When Tommy Alexander of Low Flying Owls unveiled his Imaginary Persons side project last fall, he acknowledged that the “rest” of his band were, for now, imaginary people. His solo project’s first single, the expansive psych-rocker “Give,” gave us hope, however, that real people would join Alexander in realizing his musical vision. That hasn’t quite come to fruition yet, but Imaginary Persons does have a new single. It’s titled “Never Broken,” and fans of Pink Floyd, blissful guitar excursions and slightly stoned vocals will want to put this one on repeat. The song was co-produced by Mark Lewis (ex-West Indian Girl) and Leonardo Gagliardi. Alexander has designs on releasing an EP this summer.
