Cassandra Farrar is a Bay Area-based folk singer with a Lisa Loeb/Tristan Prettyman vibe, especially on her winsome, don’t-give-up-on-love tune “Moving Out.” She also has some incredibly talented video collaborators. The clip for “Moving Out,” which has three “Best Music Video” awards and counting, is the work of a team called Guerilla Wanderers. [And you should click “full screen” to watch it that way.] Directed by Sean McCarthy, it required more than 40,000-man hours by 17 visual FX artists to fashion 6,243 frames of animation in nine different styles. “Moving On” has a wonderful “Alice in Wonderland” feel; if you’re an aspiring filmmaker, you’ll want to check out the “making-of” video as well.

Thanks so much for posting and sharing! Glad you like it! Just wanted to point out that you got the name of the song wrong… It’s called “Moving Out”… Not “Moving On”… 😉
Well in his defense, when Guerilla Wanderers takes 3 years to produce 4 minutes of special effects, then 2 minutes of incorrect credits overlooked in the editing process, it does tend to give off the vibe that they’d like to “move on”.
