‣ Eels visit the Orpheum Theatre behind their new album “The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett,” with Chelsea Wolfe opening. Eels’ tour made some headlines recently when Journey frontman Steve Perry guested with the band. Update: Perry will again join the band onstage tonight.
‣ The Melvins’ Buzz Osborne, aka King Buzzo [pictured], visits the Echo behind his recently released solo acoustic album, “This Machine Kills Artists.” Field and Otis B open.
‣ It’s a second night of Jack White, with the Cold War Kids, this time at the Mayan Theatre.
‣ Eric Burdon & the Animals do a second night at the Roxy Theatre too.
‣ Guides play the Satellite along with Alex Lilly and Valley Queen.
‣ And at the Hotel Café, it’s Ben Lee playing on the final night of the residency by the new Charlie Clark/Brandi Emma project Broken Arrow, along with Jason Keary and Skin & Bones.
